"The newest entry on this list opened in mid-2025 in Ahwatukee, a part of Phoenix tucked along the south side of South Mountain. Created by Lauren Topor, Wonderift sits just off the Warner Elliot Loop and was built with hikers and bikers in mind — a place to grab something before hitting the trails. The space is thoughtfully designed with a black-and-white checkered coffee bar and a small selection of merchandise and local goods for sale. It’s early days but already Wonderift feels like the shop this part of town has been waiting for. The menu’s still evolving with Arizona-centered specials like elote cold foam and prickly pear teas already popping up, alongside coffee from Provision.
