Landini’s Pizzeria Lands Italian Restaurant in Pacific Beach | Eater San Diego

"Opening today in Pacific Beach, I note that this revival of the freestanding Garnet Avenue building is Leo Landini’s new Italian restaurant named as a tribute to Italian auto racing culture. It opens with indoor and outdoor dining plus takeout and delivery, will serve dinner nightly from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and plans to start lunch service next month. The menu includes Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizza made by an Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana–certified pizzaiolo topped with housemade mozzarella, and handmade pasta that can be paired with a choice of sauces; the menu was designed by chef Danilo “DJ” Tangalin, Jr." - Candice Woo
