Incoming Hello Stranger Adds to Little Tokyo’s Nightlife Scene | Eater LA

"Conceived by Angela Romero of Ace Hotel DTLA as a surprise, second-floor getaway in Little Tokyo, this upstairs venue occupies a former Sonny Chiba dojo that’s been transformed with neon lighting, matte-black artwork, cement finishes and adjustable “floating benches” to change the layout. Most nights will feature DJs and live music, with a standalone bar in the back and a separate lounge that can be cordoned off for events or larger gatherings. The full bar will serve cocktails ranging from daiquiris to a boozy horchata, while a small food menu focuses on antojitos — snack-style Mexican dishes — fitting the venue’s late-night, social vibe.
