"A local chef with a proven enthusiasm for tacos will headline a new restaurant set to open within a South End hotel. Colton Coburn-Wood will be at the helm of Cósmica Mexican Eatery & Bar when it opens come November, and the menu will build off of his past success as opening chef for Dorchester’s acclaimed Yellow Door Taqueria. The taco menu will include options like duck carnitas with mole verde, cauliflower al pastor with chipotle pineapple yogurt, and a chicken chorizo taco. Apart from tacos, expect to find dishes like jalapeno poppers stuffed with chorizo queso, fried clams, tamales, ceviche, and braised pork in banana leaf. Cósmica will have a bar serving boozy slushies alongside mezcal margaritas, sangrias, and more." - Dana Hatic
