"A California-based ramen chain with more than 60 locations has opened its first Michigan outpost, launching with an April 24 celebration and a promotion that gives the first 100 customers a free order of ramen for a future visit. The new spot occupies the former Andiamo space (which closed in 2018) in Royal Oak and is operated locally by Royal Oak Ramen LLC, a group tied to developer Michael Bailey and the living trusts of Kent Ward and James Carmody III; the franchisees say they are scouting additional metro Detroit locations.
