"Although its original owner, David Speer, decided to sell and move to Hood River, Ambonnay is now in the capable hands of Michael Knisley, a Champagne fanatic from New Orleans who wants regulars to have the same experience and plans to keep the spot largely as it is. A few Oregon sparkling wines may join the program, but the Champagne isn’t going anywhere, and neither is the truffle popcorn.
