"Lemon Tree is a bright little breakfast and lunch haven at the edge of downtown Bend. Owners Jaclyn Perez and Betsy McDonald met working on mega-yachts, before bringing their chops to the high desert of Central Oregon. The big steak and eggs comes with hash browns all luxuriously made with no grease in sight. The light and crunchy arancini — stuffed with vegetables, mushrooms, brown basmati rice, and three kinds of Italian cheeses — are also a favorite of morning diners. The watermelon salad includes juicy, slightly sweet yellow and red watermelons, berries, greens, and a mix of burrata and feta for cool and creaminess.
