"As with the 35th floor observation deck and Observatory Bar, The Lookout’s views extend over the waterfront, downtown, the stadiums, and beyond. The historic Smith Tower underwent a bit of refresh three years ago, after being purchased by Unico Properties, a Seattle-based real estate investment and operating company. Included in the changes was the conversion of the observation deck’s Chinese Room into the current Observatory Bar. The renovation retained the fetching details of the room, including its ornate ceiling tiles, carved wood Wishing Chair, and that stunning wrap-around, open-air viewing platform. The major change involved adding food and drinks, and a ground floor general store, Smith Tower Provisions." - Megan Hill
