"Opening in Plaza Midwood on September 9 at 5 p.m., this Brooklyn-born pizzeria from Williamsburg brings Detroit-style square pies with a notably thick crust. The menu also highlights an award-winning double-stacked burger on a pretzel bun (a multiple best-of winner) and offers sides and sandwiches like waffle fries, cheesy garlic sticks, chicken katsu sandwiches, and salads. The location will serve a Queen City–specific pie plus a specialty pizza inspired by the city, and it will feature plenty of local beers from Pilot Brewing Company, Resident Culture Brewing Company, Protagonist NoDa, Wooden Robot Brewery, Divine Barrel Brewing, and Twenty-Six Acres Brewing Company. It joins other New York transplant concepts as part of Charlotte’s expanding culinary scene." - Erin Perkins
