"El Sabroso’s green-and-orange storefront serves Sonoran dogs from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily (and until 4 a.m. Friday and Saturday), covering every meal and everything in between. Inside, there’s AC and a dining room. Outside, folding tables keep a street stand feel. The standard dog stays under $5. The El Jefe, which runs for $7.49, upgrades to a quarter-pound beef frank with pineapple salsa. Dogs can be customized with add-ons like asadero, crushed Ruffles, carne asada, or chorizo to finish things off. A few extra bucks turns any order into a cheese-fries combination plate." - McConnell Quinn
