"The group's first U.S. location occupies a 13,600-square-foot space inside the Dua Miami hotel in Brickell, with both indoor and outdoor dining areas and a speakeasy-style bar. Led by executive chef Omar Martinez, the menu spans various Latin American cuisines with influences from Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, and Brazil; highlighted dishes include the theatrical Lucifer Tomahawk on Fire, which arrives at the table in flames, the "'super colossal' octopus," lobster tacos, top-tier cuts such as Japanese wagyu and Argentinian beef, and starters like chicharron with guacamole, burrata with almond mole, plus an array of ceviches and tiraditos. The beverage program emphasizes Latin American spirits, featuring cocktails like the Amazonica (Brazilian cachaça, coconut liqueur, lemon juice, and avocado) and the Luna Clandestina, which uses Bacanora — an agave spirit from Sonora, Mexico — mixed with orange liqueur, roasted pineapple, turmeric, green tomato, and basil; the drink list also includes Mexican wines and a selection of tequilas and mezcals. Designed by the group's founder Eduardo Beaven, the space combines natural elements with modern touches—warm tones, wooden ceilings, large windows that flood the dining room with natural light—and a massive outdoor patio outfitted with woven basket chandeliers and greenery; a separate speakeasy offers a more intimate cocktail setting. The brand has built a following at its Mexico locations, attracting celebrities such as Karol G, Canelo Álvarez, Eva Longoria, and David Beckham, and operates venues in Polanco, Tulum, Cancun, and Los Cabos. The restaurant is now open at 1346 S Miami Avenue and serves dinner daily starting at 5 p.m.; brunch and lunch service will be added soon, and nightly entertainment includes live music and DJs." - Olee Fowler
