"A bright, recently revamped space at 5290 Belt Line Road in Addison—once home to a fast-food rotisserie chicken chain—will house the second outpost of Flower Child, which is set to debut on Wednesday, December 5. Abundant windows and natural woods keep the dining room airy while richly colored chairs and banquettes add contrast; upon entering diners are greeted by an expansive menu and an ordering station offering healthy, customizable fare like avocado toast topped with sections of hard-boiled egg and a sprinkle of white cheddar. The menu also includes hummus, quinoa salad, and vegan ramen, plus vegetables and starches such as Sichuan-spiced snap peas and gluten-free macaroni and cheese that can be combined with steak, salmon, chicken, or tofu to round out a plate.
