"After a January 23 parking-lot shooting that reportedly involved at least a dozen shots and left someone wounded at a nearby gas station, the building owner, Halpern Enterprises, terminated the lease for Loca Luna effective January 24, 2022, citing the safety and well-being of patrons and tenants; representatives for the restaurant had not returned requests for comment.
