"After 48 years of pulling espresso shots and putting together paninis in St‑Léonard, the institution has opened a new location in Laval on Boulevard St‑Martin West, just west of Centropolis. Owner Marco Paranzino (the son of founder Matteo Paranzino) is keeping things the same as the Jarry Street East original, with a menu of classics: Italian‑style espresso, steak, capicollo and meatball sandwiches, and Italian sweets such as lobster tails with Nutella, biscotti, and cannoli. The only minor difference is hours—the Laval café won’t be open 24 hours but will run from 6 a.m. to midnight Sunday–Thursday and 6 a.m. to 3 a.m. Friday–Saturday—while offering plenty of space (seating for 110) and plans for a terrasse in summer." - Tim Forster
