"Opened quietly earlier this week, the Arts District outpost has fully expanded Loqui to 818 E. 3rd St. #150 in Los Angeles; ownership says the space and menu feel much the same as the first Platform address in Culver City but with even more outdoor seating, and beer and wine will arrive in a few months. The menu features a mix of chicken, pork, beef, and mushroom preparations served on handmade flour or corn tortillas for around $5 apiece, and I’m curious to see how it plays with greater Downtown crowds—Tacos 1986’s off‑menu perron and Sonoratown’s flour tortillas are not far away, while Boyle Heights and East LA sit just over the bridge. Loqui is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m." - Farley Elliott
