"Commune is a listening room and wine bar at Olive and Pine in Avondale Estates. The brainchild of Zopi Kristjanson and DJ Chris Devoe, the bar serves a tight menu and consistently evolving wine list (helmed by Empire State South’s former sommelier, Steven Grubbs). Wines are the star here, but food isn’t forgotten. Its menu swings from light and fresh caviar and oysters to heartier mains like mushroom spaghetti, half-roasted chicken, and Gulf red snapper. The deep-house, indie music keeps the vibes flowing as you tuck into dessert — a newly launched menu with Basque cheesecake and a vanilla custard tart paired with sweet wines. In addition to rare wine selects, it is one of the only bars in Atlanta serving locally-made Georgia wine by Crane Creek Vineyards.
