Library Sports Pub and Grill’s in Novi and Andiamo Restaurant in Dearborn Close Citing the Pandemic for the Decision - Eater Detroit

"The Novi location of Library Sports Pub and Grill closes Sunday, March 28, after 25 years in business on Grand River Avenue, according to a Facebook post and first reported by Detroit Free Press. The West Bloomfield location remains open and will not be affected by the closure in Novi. Owner Bob Barnett called it 'the most difficult' decision and still hopes to reopen eventually in a smaller space. The restaurant seats over 300 people at full capacity. Barnett moved the restaurant from across the street to the present location in Novi in order to attract larger crowds, many of which were traveling sports teams coming through the area. He blames continuing indoor dining and COVID restrictions for the continued hardships restaurants face, which he says have 'crippled' the industry. For now, Barnett plans to focus on West Bloomfield while he waits for 'things to fall out.'" - BethMcKibben
