"Operating in Cypress since 2017, I note that King Crawfish and Noodles is accused in a lawsuit of trading on the goodwill of Crawfish & Noodles by using a nearly identical name, which the complaint says has led diners to confuse the two establishments and to tell Truong Nguyen they had visited his "other" restaurant; the owners allegedly responded to outreach with "defiance," refusing to stop using the name. The suit also alleges that King Crawfish and Noodles serves an inferior product compared with the saucy, spice-coated mudbugs at the Asiatown original and that this purportedly tarnishes Crawfish & Noodles's reputation; King Crawfish and Noodles has not yet responded in court and a hearing has not been set." - Amy McCarthy
