"I found that JuneShine, a hard kombucha producer and lifestyle brand, will soon establish a new home base in North Park; the company got its start in 2018 as part of the Brewery Igniter building on El Cajon Boulevard, expanded last June by converting a former Ballast Point facility in Scripps Ranch into a production hub and tasting room for its popular organic hard kombucha, and will reopen in late spring 2020 in a 2,000-square-foot space (including a 600-square-foot patio) inside The Jackson on 30th Street that will accommodate private functions and other special events. Co-founder Forrest Dein said the original North Park tasting room was perfect as an incubation space and that the whole JuneShine crew is “pumped” to open the new indoor/outdoor space." - Candice Woo
