Tacoma’s Wooden City Restaurant Plots Pizza Partnership With Odd Otter | Eater Seattle

"Replacing Wilder Local Fare and Libations at 714 Pacific Ave. in Tacoma, I learned Wooden City is being developed as a family-friendly, 49-seat American restaurant co-owned by Jon Green and Abe Fox; the kitchen is in good shape and already has a health certification, and the team is completing aesthetic renovations with a projected summer opening. Jon Green, formerly of Scout and No Vacancy Poke at Hotel Albatross, is in charge of menu development and plans a pizza style closest to Neapolitan but made with local, organic flour and likely featuring some non-traditional toppings—he emphasized wanting to celebrate American cuisine without getting too hung up on traditional labels.
