"Slated to open this spring at Post Oak Plaza and set to anchor the north end of the development, this Pacific Coast–inspired seafood restaurant emphasizes light, flavorful fresh catches rooted in the founder’s California upbringing. The menu will showcase whole fish, a curated sushi program, and prime meats butchered in-house daily, along with entree salads and hearty handhelds made on house-baked breads and buns. A premium beverage program includes a high-end wine list displayed in a glass-fronted wine room. The space, which occupies the longtime home of an iconic neighborhood restaurant, is being extensively redesigned by Michael Hsu Office of Architecture and the group’s vice president of design to reveal light-filled, vintage-coastal interiors, a grand open-air entry court, and a 1,200-square-foot covered patio with a water feature visible from Post Oak Boulevard." - Megha McSwain
