"When we heard the family behind Chifa had opened another restaurant, we expected stunning furniture and custom drapery. But Arroz & Fun is a much more casual counter-service spot in Lincoln Heights serving an all-day menu of Chinese and Salvadoran dishes. The small cafe also has a menu dedicated entirely to coffee drinks like a tamarind lychee coffee spritzer and Hong-Kong style coffee milk tea. Arroz & Fun has a few indoor tables and a surprisingly spacious back patio, which is a great place to post up for a last-minute brunch. We’d recommend stopping by on a slow Saturday morning for a bowl of comforting kombucha squash congee or a plate of pollo guisado on a bed of fluffy white rice." - Nikko Duren
