"Opened in Spring 2025, Black Joy Kitchen serves a diasporic menu that turns every entrée into a flavorful world tour. There are dishes like Somali coconut fish curry, Ethiopian doro wat with injera, Peruvian huacatay shrimp and pineapple, and a “Rice Journey” from Ghanaian jollof to Gullah red rice from South Carolina.
