"Fera is a tasting-menu spot in a restored city-center mansion, equally ideal for a special-occasion dinner or a smart lunch after a wander around Palma’s old town. Either way, make reservations. There are dedicated vegetarian tasting menus, which can be tricky to find in Spain. You’ll want to sit out in the pretty cobble-floored garden surrounded by orange and palm trees, so try to request that when booking. Fera’s Austrian chef is best known for mixing Mallorcan produce with pan-Asian flavors—think beets plated with ponzu and goat cheese, polenta with artichoke, mizuna, and sansho pepper, and wagyu carpaccio done in tom kha gai.
