"How many times have you gone to a casino specifically for the shrimp tempura? We’re guessing zero, unless you’ve checked out Seamark in the big and shiny Encore Boston Harbor in Everett. The restaurant is just to the left of the giant floral Ferris wheel in the lobby, and there’s so much good seafood on the menu—including that super crispy tempura and a spicy shellfish stew that’s a close cousin of cioppino (get some fries to dip in the tomatoey broth). The massive, wood-filled room feels lightyears away from the slot machines, and more like you’re on some really nice yacht with soft, sexy lighting, which lends itself nicely for a big group birthday. There’s also a speakeasy called Old Wives’ Tale tucked in the back of the restaurant cranking out tiki, rum-based cocktails." - tanya edwards
