"Briefly closed and then quickly reopened under new ownership (thank you, Anvil-Refuge-Better Luck Tomorrow-et al incorporated), the inside of one of Montrose’s last remaining dive bars carries on relatively unchanged, apart from a shiny new pool table and what appears to be a thorough deep cleaning. Every alcoholic standard bearer exists here in some form: a shot and a beer, an old school cocktail, and various frozen concoctions. Just grab a drink, stretch out on the small patio, compete for a pool table slot, or watch whatever sportsball game is on TV.
