Caleta Review - East Village - New York - The Infatuation
"Caleta is slightly bizarre, fairly interesting, and worth checking out if you want to eat inventive small plates in an extremely casual, closet-sized space in the East Village. An ice cream shop by day, this place transitions to a bar at night, with a very brief menu of tiny tapas-style dishes like a citrusy steak tartare and fingerling potatoes over romesco with trout roe. There are 20 seats total (nine of which are barstools arranged along a wall near the entrance), the soundtrack is punk and post-punk, and the beverage options range from PBR to zweigelt rosé.
