"The team behind opened this all-day cafe in Long Beach with a menu of casual bites and snacks. And of all the dishes we've tried here, Sesame Dinette’s unconventional sesame bánh mì is a Long Beach standout. When you bite into it, the crispy roti-like flatbread it’s served on begins to shed crumbs like a tabby cat in springtime. It’s stuffed with either pork or chicken cold cuts and some fresh cilantro and daikon, but it’s all balanced out perfectly by the toasted bun that it comes served in. We especially love how refreshing this bánh mì is, whether you’re experiencing a kick of spice from the bright yellow dijon mustard, or some added crunch from the chopped cucumber and green bell peppers.
