"Kitchen doesn’t have the most exciting atmosphere in West Palm. For that you go to their sister restaurant, Mr. B’s. But the diners in the intergenerational crowd are all here for the same reason: the food is truly great. The menu is a hodgepodge of dishes like spring rolls, steak, branzino, and burgers. But unlike the vanilla dining rooms, the dishes are fun. That burger comes with foie gras, the spring rolls are of the cheesesteak variety, and we doubt you’ll find a better chicken schnitzel in the city. Service is attentive and friendly too. If you want an intimate dinner, avoid the room on the left, where white linen tables are so tightly squished together you’ll risk being roped into a debate about the pros and cons of hip replacement with your neighbors. And bring cash for valet (the only parking option available). Food Rundown photo credit: Kitchen Chicken Schnitzel At Kitchen, the chicken and the egg arrive simultaneously. Their crispy schnitzel is topped with a sunny side egg and is crunchy enough to temporarily lose hearing in your left ear. video credit: Virginia Otazo Branzino Even though it’s a little small, this grilled branzino makes up for it in flavor. The crispy skin is charred but the meat is delicate and flaky. video credit: Virginia Otazo Coconut Cake A cake so light and fluffy, they should consider tethering it to the plate." - Virginia Otazo
