"Birria tacos meet Southern pit-cooking at Ford’s. This Oakhurst BBQ joint fills their tacos with a smoked and braised brisket, globs of chihuahua cheese, onions, and cilantro. A side of tasty, comforting bone broth proves this fusion works incredibly well. Homey wood-paneled walls, bottles of BBQ sauce with permanent homes on the tables (we tried them on the tacos and didn’t hate it), and a breezy patio make a great setting for a lazy, relaxed meal." - juli horsford
