"We just know whoever made the table plan for Roti King, a Malaysian restaurant in Waterloo, has a very high score in Tetris. The tables in the loud, chronically busy, verging-on-chaotic dining room are packed closely together, with the excellent, namesake roti being ripped apart on every single one of them. If the words ‘walk-in only’ make your heart beat manically, rest assured. Unlike its Euston sibling, tables free up fast here. And once you do get inside, you’ll feel equally impressed that you easily get through a bowl of roti canai (our favourites are the beef rendang or chicken) and nasi goreng, and lick clean a plate of pisang (sweet roti with banana) in 45 minutes." - Rianne Shlebak
