"If you require spice or need comforting takeout, try this Korean counter service spot on the edge of downtown. It’s pretty casual—all food is served in containers even if you’re eating at the restaurant—so don’t plan a big night out here. But the lunchtime fried chicken special (get the spicy soy garlic) and the sweet-spicy tteokbokki are both incredible, and a nice change of pace from the city’s American options. Of their meats, we recommend the pork marinated in gochujang. No matter what you order, bank on buying a side of kimchi and extra gochujang sauce.
