"At this butcher shop in Prospect Heights (with another location in Greenpoint) you can pick up beautifully speckled handmade pork sausage or a big fat marbled steak for dinner. But they also do sandwiches—think turkey and bacon jam, or the housemade chopped liver sandwich with cornichons and mustard. And then there’s the lard chocolate chip cookie chocolate chip cookie. What we are about to say might scare you, but stick with us: It tastes a little like pepperoni. And now we kind of want all of our chocolate chip cookies to taste like pepperoni.
