"No one will come looking for you at Glades Club. The small building, which seems closed but is open every day starting at 11am, is located deep in Homestead, between farmland. This place is technically a members-only club, but becoming a member is as easy as handing the bartender $5 and saying, “I would like to become a member, please.” Do that, and you’ll receive a plastic card that guarantees future entry with one guest who is also looking to drink cheap beer in a windowless room with a 14-foot python skin hanging on the wall. Come early and there’ll probably be a few regulars sitting at the bar, enjoying the lack of natural sunlight. If you do want to be reminded what time it is, step into their backyard, where they host live music and karaoke at night." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino
