"Porzia’s isn’t exactly central, but the lasagna is worth crossing town to Oakwood Village for. Clocking in at over a pound, it’s a hearty tower of food made of fresh pasta, and we’ve seen every table who orders it deep in games of fork hockey for the last bite. Porzia’s isn’t just a one-hit wonder, though: You can nurse a glass of nebbiolo with spicy rigatoni at the front counter or park yourself at a back table and watch the chefs slice prosciutto from the open kitchen. Start with the radicchio and chicory salad that’s bitter, simple, and perfectly dressed with a tangy balsamic vinaigrette. The burrata and kampachi crudo with citrus chilli are solid, but the spatchcocked Cornish hen is the sleeper hit: super crispy skin and incredibly juicy meat, all bathed in a golden jus. Desserts rotate, but there’s always soft serve in flavors like strawberries and pistachio or coffee with biscotti." - Renée Suen
