"If you love the feeling of being out on the water but can’t quite swing the yacht club membership, dinner at the Dock in West Wildwood might be the next best thing. Tables at the casual BYOB are on a deck so close to the Grassy Sound, it feels like you’re scooping up spicy tuna ponzu in the middle of the back bay. Start with oysters, especially if crisp Cape May Salts are on offer, and one of the ceviches paired with housemade chips. For tacos, try the wild-caught blackened tuna, mahi with fresh corn salsa, and brussels sprouts with pickled jalapenos and chipotle vinaigrette. Round out dinner with one of the perfectly-spiced sides (the queso-smothered Old Bay fries are a crowd pleaser). If you happen to be there for a sunset, it’s the ideal shore dining experience—no seersucker required. photo credit: Neal Santos photo credit: Neal Santos photo credit: Neal Santos photo credit: Neal Santos photo credit: Neal Santos Pause Unmute" - Regan Stephens
