"There are two Super Subs in Miami (that have nothing to do with each other). At this one, you should under no circumstances ask for a Pepsi. We almost mistook the tiny sandwich shop for a Coca-Cola collector’s showroom. There are Coke clocks, posters, buckets, and dispensers crammed behind the counter. The restaurant’s passion for soda merchandise is only rivaled by its love of Messi posters and cheeseburger subs. They take their time making them, ensuring all three patties (which they leave intact) are seasoned on both sides before they get crowned with a thick slice of cheese. The bread is warmed up on the flat top, too. Eating one of these is like eating three cheeseburgers, but it only costs the price of two. For $12, it’s a great deal that pairs beautifully with a certain brand of soda. photo credit: CLEVELAND JENNINGS / @EATTHECANVASLLC photo credit: CLEVELAND JENNINGS / @EATTHECANVASLLC video credit: Virginia Otazo photo credit: CLEVELAND JENNINGS / @EATTHECANVASLLC photo credit: CLEVELAND JENNINGS / @EATTHECANVASLLC Pause Unmute" - Virginia Otazo
