"Most Cuban restaurants on Miami Beach can be put into two categories: those for tourists and those preferred by locals. Sazon checks both boxes. The North Beach restaurant is great for Miamians who want to eat thick croquetas with a cortadito en paz. And it’s just as great for burnt beachgoers looking for a solid cuban sandwich and respite from the sun. The ropa vieja is tangled in a rich tomato sauce. The white rice is fluffy and salty (but not clumpy). There’s an indoor dining room and a patio out back covered by a big palapa with fans and misters.
