The Stump - Review - Cirencester - Cotswolds - The Infatuation

"If you love the idea of a country pub but don’t love the reality of cobwebs, you’ll find your people at The Stump near Cirencester. The fire casts a glow on the Cotswolds stone walls and the seats look antique, but you’re more likely to spot some mesh ballet flats than muddy wellies, and the wall-mounted fox head looks like it lived a pretty comfortable life. There are pies flying out of the kitchen, but these are the bubbly crust, ‘nduja pizza kind. Grab a snug booth under the thick wooden beams and work your way through the Italian-leaning menu—the rich beef shin ragu is a standout.
