"Alberca adds a new look to Trujillo in this stone house in the heart of the town’s old quarter. The restaurant, which has taken on a new lease of life having passed down a generation, boasts two welcoming dining rooms with a traditional, regional decor, plus a delightful terrace on an internal patio. Updated traditional cuisine is to the fore here, with grilled dishes cooked over hot coals the undisputable stars of the show, the result of the chef having spent almost a year in the legendary one-Michelin-star Etxebarri “asador” in Axpe.
