"This is a great place with a host of standout features: picture a converted old sawmill that is set in a quiet, idyllic location and boasts a sensational garden terrace with tables within spitting distance of the neighbouring forest! Works by various artists adorn this charming spot. The interior, too, is beautiful, combining traditional charm (the elaborately carved wooden ceiling is striking) with modern features. On top of this, the cordial Sicher family are strongly invested in their work in the kitchen and on the restaurant floor. They propose an ambitious and creative seasonal set menu as well as more down-to-earth à la carte dishes, such as whole trout or char. Pride of place is given to the restaurant's own fish farm, as well as produce sourced from its own farm or regional producers.
