How to Avoid Paying Bank Fees While Traveling (Updated 2025)
"As part of the Global ATM Alliance, Bank of America lets you use partner ATMs without being charged an ATM fee, but be aware it charges a 3% transaction fee on all non-USD withdrawals (and I've been told calling them will often get most or all of that transaction fee refunded). Bank of America also waives ATM fees with certain overseas banks such as TEB in Turkey, UkrSibbank in Ukraine, and China Construction Bank in China, though alliance coverage can vary by country subsidiary." - Matthew Kepnes
