"Newly renovated and popular for its location in the artsy Northside, the highlight for me is that The Mansion sits inside the free tram zone around the CBD and is within easy reach of Queen Victoria Market, Federation Square, and Chinatown. I like the friendly staff, well-equipped kitchen, and the quieter vibe thanks to a no-noise rule after 11pm; beds are basic metal bunks but have really thick mattresses, lockers, plugs, lights, and privacy curtains for decent sleep, and there’s a bar, café, and a co-working space that I found very convenient for digital nomads." - Matthew Kepnes
