"A six-hectare waterfront park opened in 2015 that restores pre-settlement coastal ecology with nearly 75,000 native trees and shrubs — from water gum to dramatic gymea lily — while preserving sandstone edges and cliffs. Visitors recline on sandstone rocks or on an elevated outcrop known as Stargazer Lawn, dip their toes in the water and experience a deliberately Indigenous-informed planting palette that evokes the harbour’s ancient lines." - Neha Kale
