"Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania is about to unveil a jaw-dropping $250 million expansion that includes a 32,000-square-foot conservatory with a Mediterranean garden, a 12,000-square-foot bonsai courtyard, a new restaurant overlooking fountains, a pavilion for Roberto Burley Marx’s cascade garden, and new groves of trees. Designed by Weiss/Manfredi, the West Conservatory features a glass and metal structure with a pleated roof and a glimmering reflecting pool.
