Soup Shack Opens in Jamaica Plain | Eater Boston

"Opening June 18 in Jamaica Plain, I noticed the menu posted in the windows of its Centre Street storefront for Soup Shack. The restaurant plans to serve more than a dozen varieties of Asian soups across three categories — Vietnamese pho (dac biet pho, pork and shrimp pho, and spicy beef noodle soup), Japanese ramen (miso, shoyu, tonkotsu, and vegetarian styles), and Thai noodle soups including tom yum noodle soup and kao soi from northern Thailand — and will also offer appetizers like gyoza and steamed buns, plus salads, rice bowls, and sides. Soup Shack is taking over the space of the now-defunct sushi shop Kamado Super Fusion, which closed in November of 2017 after nearly four years in business." - Dana Hatic
