"Opening this fall in Addison at a former Houston’s location, this new lodge-style restaurant aims to blend Aspen-like atmosphere with Southwestern cuisine. It will feature an expansive patio anchored by a grand stonemason outdoor fireplace, custom mosaic tiling, and a large, flowing bar topped with hand-hewed oak that serves as the centerpiece. The interior will emphasize warm, rustic finishes—bronze and glass light fixtures, leather booths with wood paneling, woven planters and equestrian artwork—while the menu focuses on Southwestern fare such as prime steaks, slow-cooked rotisserie meats, comforting soups, and house-baked breads like rosemary focaccia and jalapeño cornbread. Operated by Vandelay Hospitality Group as a sister concept to Hudson House, the team is targeting a fall opening just in time for patio fireplace weather." - Brittanie Shey
