Virgin Hotel starts demolition on the Hard Rock Cafe | Eater Vegas

"This once-iconic restaurant, which originally opened in 1990, was known for the 82-foot neon guitar that stood out front and was inspired by Pete Townshend’s No. 9 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe. The restaurant closed on December 31, 2016, and demolition of the front-of-resort eatery began on November 18 as part of a larger redevelopment of the property into a Virgin-branded hotel." - Susan Stapleton
