"A local public library branch serving as a polling site experienced very long early-voting lines that stretched out the door and along an adjacent ice rink; voters often arrived hungry after waiting — one reported being awake since 6:30 a.m., in line by noon, and waiting nearly two hours to cast a ballot — and many were grateful for bottled water and for volunteers and organizations who provided snacks and meals to alleviate the discomfort and improve the voting experience." - Jenny G.
