"An outpost of the Italian-American Little Italy mainstay is headed to the Hamptons this summer at 31 Race Lane (at Railroad Avenue), Easthampton; sponsored by Resy, it will feature two massive bars, an expansive cocktail program, and seating for over 100 — a far bigger space than the Manhattan location that’s been around since 2009. The menu will be akin to the NYC location, and it’s slated to open May 23. Maria Pappalardo tells Eater, “I’m working on ways to expand the brand.” The move is supported by Brian Bedol, who helped last year’s opening of Billy Durney’s Red Hook Tavern out east, co-founded Classic Sports Network/ESPN Classic, is a CBS Sports Network entrepreneur, and launched cooking video streaming Kittch with LeBron James as an investor; Pappalardo’s family restaurant legacy includes Staten Island’s Joe & Pat’s from 1960." - Emma Orlow
